At different stages in life many people suffer from low mood or depression and others can experience a lack of emotion or drive in their life and often feel unable to understand or explain why. Maybe you feel you repeat the same patterns of behaviour or are struggling to identify what is happening to you and why.

You can feel alone and anxious in the world when you feel stuck or unable to move forward. This can feel confusing and often leave you in a situation where you are unable to share how you truly feel with others.

Asking for help and trying to find the right person to talk to can be daunting and finding the words to explain how you feel can be difficult. Life events, family and work can all have an impact on our daily lives and counselling can provide the space and time needed to talk freely.

I have extensive experience in helping clients deal with issues such as low mood, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship problems, loss & bereavement, anger, trauma (past and present), abuse, short or long term illness, work issues and identity struggles .



First Steps

I can provide a comfortable, safe space where you can speak freely and feel listened to in a confidential and non-judgemental setting. Together we can explore your issues at a pace comfortable for you. I am a BACP registered psychodynamic counsellor and therapist based in the heart of Enfield Town in North London and work with adults on a 1:1 basis.

Our first meeting

The initial consultation would last for 50 minutes and carries no obligation to commit to further sessions. In this first meeting we would discuss what is currently troubling you and why you feel you want to see a counsellor. It would be a mutually beneficial session where you can decide if you feel comfortable and for us both to get a feel for what it would be like for us to be in a therapeutic relationship together. It would also help to identify whether short or longer term/open ended work would be appropriate. Sometimes a second consultation session is needed to clarify things further.
